An unincorporated municipality that is part of an incorporated town or city. A ward is governed by one or more elected representatives (who also serve as ward representatives in the incorporated government) who manage limited local services (such as fire, sewer, or trash collection); other services (such as police or school administration) are managed by the incorporated government.
